Temple Planning Board – Second Round of Grant Funds Awarded

The Town of Temple Planning Board has been awarded an additional round of grant funding through the InvestNH Municipal Planning & Zoning Grant Program, funded by the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs as part of the $100 million InvestNH Initiative with ARPA State Fiscal Recovery funds, in the amount of $49,770. This award will be administered jointly by NH Housing, Plan NH, and UNH Cooperative Extension.

The purpose of this grant is to assist those municipalities looking to increase housing opportunities through community engagement and regulatory change.

The Temple Planning Board contracted with Southwest Regional Planning Commission (SWRPC) to provide technical and administrative assistance throughout the term of the grant award.

The Scope of Work includes:

  • Review and analysis of the Master Plan Updates & Regulatory Audits
  • Review and analysis of Natural Resources Inventory update and NRI Regulatory Audit
  • Consideration of Community Engagement preferences gathered over the past 2+ years
  • Revisions to the Site Plan Review Regulations, with Open Space considerations
  • Revisions to the Planned Residential Development (PRD) Regulations, with Open Space considerations
  • Revisions to the Workforce Housing Regulations, with Open Space considerations
